It is important to act as quickly as possible when trying to remove stains from carpet and upholstery.  The faster you are able to start the clean up the better success you will have removing and preventing permanent damage.  Remember always work from the outside into the middle to prevent spreading, and NEVER rub or scrub your carpets or upholstery, use a clean white rag and blot.
