Post Cleaning Inspection

Consultation with the customer to identify any problem areas or concerns they may have. This includes an evaluation of each room and the condition of the areas to be cleaned.  At this time we will address any concerns that we may have with cleaning the requested areas.

Pre-Conditioning Carpet

We will apply a pre-conditioning agent the carpets.  This agent will help the release of any soil or contaminants that have bonded to the carpet fibers, allowing them to be removed. This is often referred to as pre-spraying or pre-treatment.

Edging

This ensures our cleaning method is extracting ALL areas of the carpet.  Cleaning along the edges is important due to vacuums typically cannot get this close to the baseboards, and as air circulates throughout the room it is pushed down the walls and into the carpet along this area.

Rinsing out the pre-conditioning agent and extracting the soil and contaminates is combined into one method using the scrub wand that emits clean water heated to over 230° F and immediately extracted.  This process works well and is recommended by almost all carpet manufactures.

Removal of certain spots or contaminates requires specific care.  This process is performed simultaneously with the rinse and extract process so we can be sure we have removed all chemicals used in the spot extraction.

Certain pieces of furniture require that we remove them from the carpet surface.  To prevent having to move these items to a different area, we will put plastic tabs or crush resistant blocks under the contact points to protect your furniture and carpets from any damage.

Grooming the carpet fluffs up the fibers and helps return the them to a more like original state.  This procedure also assist in the time it takes to completely dry out the carpet fibers.

Air movers are a convenient way to speed up the drying process, and are typically used on tight bound or fibers that resist in the evaporation process.  One air mover can typically dry out a room in about 10-15 minutes.

Our technicians utilize all the proper safety equipment to ensure we protect your door frames, baseboards, and walls.

We will walk through the home with you and review all areas have been cleaned to your satisfaction.  We will leave you with any special instructions that might be needed based on your specific carpet.

The RX-20 Machine is used to substitute the scrub wand in heavy traffic areas or highly contaminated areas.  This machine provides weighted agitation, five fresh water jets, and five extraction plates.

Every step counts!
